As a ministry under the direction of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Division of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and St. Joseph (Fullerton),

St. Joseph Youth Ministry follows the Archdiocesan volunteer policies and guidelines.  For more information click here.

All St. Joseph (Fullerton) Youth Volunteers (between 14-17 years of age) who have substantial contact with children must comply with the following:

●   Application for Volunteer Services must be completed and signed by youth with parent/guardian signature also three (3) references will be checked and documented

●  Worthy of the Call* Youth training video has been viewed and required training has been received

●  A Statement of Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth has been received and reviewed

●  Code of Conduct for Church Personnel in the Archdiocese of Baltimore received and reviewed

 

*Worthy of the Call:  Training for Youth Who Volunteer/Work for the Catholic Church is an Archdiocese of Baltimore training.  Please note:  We encourage parents/guardians to attend this training with their young people.

 

 

High School Youth Leadership Opportunities:

 

P.I.T. Crew

     Generally made-up of confirmed Catholic teens and young adults, this crew helps keep SJYM program offerings running.  P.I.T. Crew volunteer servant leaders help to coordinate and run programs for our Middle School Ministry and Teens L.I.G.H.T.; they serve as Confirmation Peers and Young Adult Facilitators, coordinate service opportunities and more. (P.I.T. Crew meets the first Sunday of each month; contact ym for more information.)
