Chicken Dinner

Twice a year, St. Joseph's community comes together for its traditional Chicken Dinner. Part fundraiser and part community builder, this dinner is well-known from the young to the old.  Parishioners begin working months prior to each dinner to recruit the many volunteers needed to make this event a success.  Each St. Joseph parishioner probably has their own personal story of cutting parsley, peeling potatoes, frying chicken or serving dinner.

The Chicken Dinner serves homemade fried chicken, German potato salad, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, mashed potatoes and cake for dessert.

All meals are served family style in round tables of 10. You can meet fellow parishioners and local neighbors while eating to your heart's content.  Wheels of chance with prizes of: plants, stuffed animals, toys, and more plus cakes provide a fun atmosphere.

You don't want to miss it!chickendinner2

The next Chicken Dinner will be held on Sunday, October 21st. Doors open at 12 Noon.
