Why Volunteer?

As you reflect on your life, consider how the Holy Spirit is calling you to a new place.

St. Joseph Church can use your time and talents in ways which may be yet unknown to you.   Think about your God-given skills and abilities. Now consider those areas in your life in which additional fulfillment is needed.

Perhaps you wish to meet fellow parishioners in a fun, casual way.

Perhaps you need to be reminded how the poor are among us still.

Perhaps you wish to help those too sick to attend Mass.

Perhaps you wish to laugh with children while teaching them the Gospel.

There are so many ways in which volunteering at the Church can bring fulfillment to your life while helping others in a meaningful way. Consider volunteering with one of the Ministries or Organizations.  Contact the chairperson of each group to learn more how you can help. You will be surprised how that will actually help you.

STAND training
The Archdiocese of Baltimore requires all volunteers having substantial contact with our youth to go through the STAND for youth and young adult protection training program. For all forms and information please see our STAND training page.
